QUICK FACTS

Development Association of Shire in  North America (DASNA) is a non-political and non-profit organization, established and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now in effect and regulations circulate there under. The purposes of the association include, but are not limited to the following:

* To foster and encourage educational enterprises programs and services by providing necessary assistance of creating a comfortable learning enviroment to all students of Shire region, of Tigray state in Ethiopia.

 * To assure qulaity public education and health care service in the region by providing educational technology, medical equipments, and other related supporting materials.

* Helping to be a source of information for members at home and Diaspora for academic and professional developments.

* To participate in assisting of any infrastructural, cultural, and social development to the people of shire region, of Tigray state in Ethiopia.

* To support the youth to become more creative, engage in extracurricular activities,  as well as  to make them stronger in collaborating among themselves and others. These extracurricular activities includes sports, liberal arts, and learning the history of their nation.

* To increase the city's incentives to further development in such areas.

* To engage in any lawful act reasonably related to the furtherance of the foregoing purposes and additional charitable purpose of the association.
